As many do, I began sewing with my grandmother. I still cherish the things we made together and the memories of sitting quietly together creating something out of nothing. My dance background probably shapes my love of clean lines, balanced composition and my modern embroidery aesthetic.
I created Sealed with a Kish during Covid as a way to keep the community safe with personalized custom masks for adults and kids. Now with my embroidery, I am helping to build community, connect generations, strengthen bonds of teams and friendship...and I feel like I’m just getting started!
